Dignity
Every older person deserves respect, a listening ear and consideration, whatever their situation.
DPI works every day for the dignity, wellbeing and social inclusion of older people.
DPI was born from the conviction that an isolated older person is a person in distress β and that this situation is unacceptable. Across France, thousands of elders live alone, sometimes forgotten, often far from the information and rights that could improve their daily lives.
Our association is dedicated to giving every elder the means to live with dignity: through human presence, social connection, action against vulnerability and the defence of their rights. We believe there is no age limit to being listened to, surrounded and respected.
DPI is a declared non-profit association (loi 1901). It pursues no commercial activity: its resources come from donations and are used entirely for its social missions.
Four principles guide every one of our actions.
Every older person deserves respect, a listening ear and consideration, whatever their situation.
We go towards the most fragile, where they live, so that no one is left behind.
Human, regular and trusted support, rooted in the Reims area.
Clear and responsible management: 100% of donations serve our social missions.
DPI runs thanks to the commitment of volunteers and the support of donors. Our association governance ensures that every decision serves the interest of the older people we support.
Our mission in one sentence
