Our mission

For the dignity and wellbeing of every elder

A single, clear purpose guides everything DPI does.

Our mission statement

DPI is a French non-profit association (loi 1901) based in Reims. Our mission is to advocate for the rights and wellbeing of older people and to support seniors who are isolated or vulnerable, so that everyone keeps their dignity, autonomy and place in society — whatever their age, health or means.

"To fight the isolation and exclusion of older people, restore social bonds and make the voice of the invisible heard." — This is the registered purpose of our association.

Everything we do flows from this single purpose. We pursue no commercial activity, and our team is made up of volunteers.

Who we serve

We work with older people across Reims and the Grand Est region: elders living alone, people losing their independence, and the most vulnerable — particularly those facing difficulties with housing, health or resources.

  • Isolated older people at risk of loneliness
  • Elders losing social connection or independence
  • Vulnerable seniors (housing, health, resources)
  • Citizens seeking to understand their rights and benefits
